New General Terms and Conditions for Domain Name Registration under .si will come into force on November 6, 2008, at 10 a.m.. Major updates are:

• the range of entities eligible to register .si domains has been widened to all natural and legal persons, with no requirements for local presence;
• no limitation on maximum number of domain names per holder;
• registration period can be chosen from 1 up to 5 years;
• numeric domains have been allowed.
